I’ve been just started my relationship with Twitter this October via @ClickWebSuccess. So far, it has been an enjoyable relationship compared to the one I had with Facebook. I guess it is the speed and the limit of 140 characters set by Twitter that attract me. Thin content sharing in Twitter really squeeze the best out of me to be more creative with words.
Throughout my journey with Twitter, there are so people who like to add me to their “list”. I do not understand this tool and therefore did a search on the net. Wow…. to my surprise, having a list can ease my daily routine in finding good content to share! It literally feed content into my Twitter automation too! This is indeed an ideal tool for cutting the clutter in Twitter newsfeed.
After much reading, I’ve decided to share my new discovery with you. Here is step-by-step on how to use Twitter list and capitalize on this amazing tool.
Step 1: Login to your Twitter account and click on your profile photo on the upper right and you will find a drop-down menu with the word “Lists”, then click on it.
Step 2: Once you are in, you will be able to see your own list, the list you have subscribed to or those you have been added to as member. Just need to toggle between “Subscribed to” and “Member of” to access all lists.
Step 3: You can create a list of your own by clicking “Create new list” button at the right of your existing list and you will be asked to type in your list name and some description about your list.
If you create a list of prospects, leads or customers, you may consider to make your list private. Keep it public if your objective is to let other see and access content of your list. This allow you to become resource provider to other people.
Please take note that anyone you added to your own list will be notified and this is a great way to start a relationship with influencers. By constantly retweeting and engage with their tweet, you can develop stronger relationship
Step 4: To add someone to you list, you just to go their profile and click on the “setting” icon, followed by “Add or remove from ”. Then select the list you want to add them to.

Then select the list you want to subscribe to and click “subscribe” button on the left side of list Newsfeed. You can unsubscribe using the same method.
