Today, Mangools is not only known as the creator of KWFinder but also its sister SEO tools such as SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner and SiteProfiler.

I find KWFinder an interesting tool as it's cloud-based and works swiftly and efficiently for both short and long-tail keyword research.

Whether you're a complete beginner to SEO, business owner, or an agency, this competitor keyword research tool seems ideal for everyday use.

To define it in simple words, KWFinder is simplicity at its best. It surpasses all the other contemporary keyword research tools in its league when it comes to an intuitive interface and ease of use.

Here are some other features inside KWFinder that can help you complete your keyword research tasks and get ranked on Google.

KWFinder Features

Now, this is the best part. There are a plethora of tools you can find on KWFinder if you know where to look. Here are some of the key features.

Keyword Research Volume & Key Metrics: For each keyword phrase that you do a search, the results will show keyword trends, number of monthly searches, a list of alternative keywords, and keyword difficulty. The tool gives each keyword a score out of 100, allowing you to rank keywords with ease.

Competitor Keywords: One of the best features that help you see what your competitors in the same niche are targeting. All you need to do is to enter the domain, and the tool will show you all the top keywords optimized for that particular website. You can even use URL for each page, a blog post, to narrow down results for a specific page.

The tool not only shows you top keywords, but also the organic rank your competitor reached against each keyword. In addition, it shows you the keywords they're using in Google Ads, monthly traffic, CPC, PPC, and historical search trends.

Sort & Filter Search Results: You can customize your search results according to your needs. The filter option helps you narrow your search down to some specific options to get you exactly what you’re looking for.

This way, you can cut the clutter and save time. Also, the filter options you select stay activated for the next search as well, so you can proceed immediately without having to make the settings again.

KWFinder also has multiple search options as well. You can choose from questions, autocomplete, and suggestions. Suggestions are the basic option to go for. You can seed in your keyword and select from the suggestions that pop out.

Similarly, there's the autocomplete option. Here the tool completes your keywords for you according to Google’s autosuggest. This is similar to the options you see while typing in a Google search.

Lastly, you can type in keywords that demand specific information as well by asking questions. This can include questions that your audience usually searches for beginning from how, why, or what.

Organize Keywords Into A List: To keep your keywords organized, you can save them in the form of lists. You can create as many customized keyword lists as you want based on the project, website, or your specific blog post.

The list also shows several metrics for each list, including volume, average  CPC, average PPC, and average keyword difficulty, similar to the feature offered by Jaaxy, another popular keyword research tool for a complete beginner.

Support Team

With many tools and options available at hand, it's not surprising for a beginner to get lost. Lucky for you, KWFinder has fully functioning support options to get help promptly whenever you get stuck.

There’s the email support option that you’ll find in almost all keyword research tools. On average it takes less than 24 hours to get a response to your email.

Besides that, KWFinder has a live chat option as well. If you’re in a hurry and need some answers, this is the option for you. Just type your question in, and a representative will come to your rescue.

However, you may have to wait for some time in some cases before you get a response from their agent.

Knowledge-base

There’s more to KWFinder than just searching for the keywords you need. If you’re planning to build your SEO career from scratch, KWFinder has the perfect tools for you.

Not only will it help you find the ideal keywords to increase traffic on your blogs and make your posts more meaningful, but the active running website will also help you become an SEO pro.

Educational Blog with Latest SEO Updates: KWFinder blog has great information for aspiring SEO managers. It's updated every few weeks with the latest information and updates in the SEO world so you can continue to sharpen your saw, as you work.

Let’s see, you think that’s too good to be true? Here are a few examples from the latest educational blogs on the website to give you further insight.

The one we liked best is the complete SEO guide. Titled by the website as the SEO hub, the blog has everything you need to know about the topic.

It has lots of case studies as well, so you can actually learn how SEO worked out for different organizations. This way, you can not only implement the information for your benefit, but learn from real experiences.

Another one we think would really benefit newbies in the SEO world is the Mangools SEOpedia.

Yes, as fun as it sounds, this part of the educational blog has a list of SEO terminologies with their definitions, uses, and details. This is great for people who’re still finding their way around.

The glossary is also further divided into comprehensible sections such as keyword research, technical SEO, backlinking and analytics to help you access the information with ease.

KWFinder Guide: Secondly, the tool includes its personalized guides. This means you won’t feel isolated when you don’t know how to work with the tools available on the site.

The step by step guide for every app and features will help you make the most of everything you’re paying for.

To go deeper into the details, let’s take the basic KWFinder guide as an example. The guide begins with the basics and goes on to explain every feature this keyword research tool offers.

Besides that, it also provides some quirky tips and facts here and there to give you extra information on how to effectively use the tool.

Who is KWFinder for?

It's obvious that KWFinder is a keyword research tool suitable for aspiring newcomers who need to find the best keywords to rank their site on search engines.

The reasonable pricing and its user-friendly interface path an easier way for a complete beginner to take maximum advantage of the tool that can draw attention to their best content.

However, I wouldn’t suggest this tool for more experienced marketers or agencies serving clients with higher expectations as there’s a lack of in-depth metrics to analyze competitor’s traffic strategies, particularly paid strategies.

Even if you purchase the agency plan, I would say that the search results are somewhat basic as compared to advanced SEO research tools such as Ahref and MOZ.

The Truth About KWFinder

You must’ve seen it coming, nothings all bells and whistles when it comes to the virtual world. That’s exactly the case with KWFinder as well.

There are a few hidden truths behind the bling which you should know before you select a membership plan.

Truth #1: Restricted Features & Results

Despite the multiple features provided by the website, there are places you might find yourself stuck. That’s because the website has restrictions on some features and results.

Depending on your plan, KWFinder will hide and cap search results. This is perhaps the worst nightmare for keyword researchers.

Sadly, you will face this more than often if you’ve purchased anything less than the Agency plan on KWFinder.

Results are shown until your plan allows and is blurred after that. You’ll probably get a list of keywords, and you won’t know if they’re the best good, since some of the results are hidden.

Truth #2: No Advanced Competitor Analysis

One of the oldest tricks to excel at a trade is to keep an eye on the competitor. Keyword research tools like SpyFu and SemRush provide beneficial information through competitor-based keyword search options.

You can find out which keywords your competitors are buying, and which ads they’re running to get yourself in the league.

KWFinder is working on the feature right now, but it’s nowhere close to the other contemporary keyword research tools.

Their database is limited at the moment, which restricts proper research on this subject. However, the concept was only introduced a few months ago on the site, so we can expect some advancements in the near future.

Things I Like About KWFinder

From what it looks like, there are more things to like about KWFinder than not. The most important being that it’s simple, easy to use, and has a clear, intuitive interface that makes it a go-to tool for all.

Another aspect that’s quite enticing in this tool is the availability of a good mix of basic and advanced data for both new and experienced marketers to work with.

This is in contrast to some other tools, which have too many advanced settings and data for newbies to figure out quickly.

Additionally, the data representation is simply amazing. You get all the information at one glance, which helps you make quick decisions and save time.

Even though KWFinder cap daily limits on requests, some keyword research tools have monthly limits, which can become a pain if they run out.

Therefore, daily limits can be quite manageable, considering they’ll reset the following day.

Simplicity and ease of use should always be taken consideration especially for programs like this where users have to learn how to use and navigate it themselves.
